Report describing the dissemination case study featuring the city of Kaunas

The District Cooling technology is still not used in Lithuania and Kaunas. The draft National Energy Strategy, which is under discussion in the Lithuanian Parliament at present, foresee that detailed research is needed in order to develop this technology in Lithuania. In the city of Kaunas, the options of implementation of District Heating technology was analyzed in the District Heating Development Strategy (2012), however, it was found that the technology is not attractive in nearest future. The reports provide analysis of three cases how the District Cooling could be implemented in Kaunas.
