European Green Leaf Award 2018 goes to Växjö
The 2nd of June 2017, Växjö was announced as the winner of the European Green Leaf Award 2018 at an award ceremony in Essen, Germany in front of an audience of 200 people and 15 jury members.
The European Green Leaf Award is environmental recognition for cities with a good environmental record and a green growth commitment. The European Green Leaf Award will be presented to winning cities as a seal of approval, which will be bestowed on them at the European Green Capital Awards ceremony of that year.”
